That 3 Month Mark

In response to everyone saying that my daughter looks just like me, I decided to grow a huge gross mustache. Take that world! The Tangerine has turned 3 months old. In response to her turning 3 months old, she is teething. Hello drool soaked everything. Yuck!

Lucky for us readers that gorgeous little chunky monkey you're holding distracts the eye from your gross 'stache, lol.
She's getting bigger and prettier (which I thought was impossible) every time you post! What a lucky papa you are!

Karencilla September 30, 2009 3:27 PM

She is sooo beautiful Ryan. Congrats again to you and Cole!

Not really knowing what you look like, I have to say that I've often thought that I can see Cole and LB in Tessa's face. # months just flies past doesn't it? soon it will have been 3 years and you'll b wondering if she was ever really that small

I'm the youngest of three. My two older siblings are boys, so I was the first and only girl. When I was born and the doctor said I was a girl, my dad was so excited that he started jumping around yelling "I've got a girl! It's a girl!" He was so thrilled that the doctor handed me to him first instead of my mom!

And oddly enough, my mom has always been WAY more over protective of me than he has as far as boys and stuff. Any guy I brought home he would greet with open arms while my mom would be the one giving the stink eye, haha.

Hey now, drool is very beneficial for fabric. Think of it as spot cleaning.

christina September 30, 2009 4:14 PM

i canNOT believe she's she's 3 months old already!! it seems like yesterday that we were looking at her first photos :-)

purejoy September 30, 2009 4:48 PM

Nicole September 30, 2009 4:52 PM

What a precious little face she has. Cant believe how fast they grow up......

Danny Boy and Us September 30, 2009 4:59 PM

Can she be any cuter! Congrats.

Robin September 30, 2009 6:43 PM

i think you fail to realize people probably intend for you to take that as a compliment...? it's not necessary for you to retaliate :O)

CelticCastOn September 30, 2009 8:49 PM

3 months already?? Where did the time go? She's still as beautiful as ever :)

Beth September 30, 2009 8:51 PM

She is beautiful! And teething already? Wow! That seems early (it may not be as parenting has apparently diminished my brain cells).

Holly September 30, 2009 11:14 PM

This is so cute. :]

Terri Fischer October 1, 2009 12:12 AM

what? she looks like her mom. but then again, i have no clue what you look like.

Ciara Obscura October 1, 2009 12:31 AM

I adore that child. no two ways around it... she's just remarkable.
And you with your mustache -> it's something special. But I'm a fan of the beard. With all the torment my husband gets for donning a beard (really?!?? why the fuck do people feel the need to waste time on such things?), I think it's the best thing ever. I encourage you to wear the beard, as well. You'd look swell. And lil' tangerine will get some credible tactile experience out of it.

3 months? How is that possible? I swear that child just gets yummier and yummier

natasha October 1, 2009 3:10 AM

Good God, that moustache is something else! ;)

I can't believe that Tessa is 3 months old already - she is so beautiful. I hope you are all doing well.

The Hermit October 1, 2009 9:01 AM

She's so tiny and precious!

My husband is growing out the winter beard and is constantly tickling Little Man with it. He loves it!

As a usually silent follower of your blog I felt the urge to comment and say I think she looks the spitting image of your wife!!...obviously I do not know you or your family, so only have your wonderfully written posts to go by! And maybe it's because you seldom put pictures of yourself up, I only have Cole to compare to! Most babies I have known look just like balding mini-men for the first few months of existance, however she definately looks like her mother!! Congratulations, she's perfect!

Stephanie October 1, 2009 1:39 PM

Little vintage hankerchiefs are a unique alternative to bibs to catch the drool. And they are super cheap at thrift stores.

Christine S. October 1, 2009 2:19 PM

She is just too precious. Tessa still looks like her daddy even with your attempt to hide behind all that facial hair, nice try :)

Jaden Paige October 1, 2009 4:05 PM

Those eyes get me every time. GAH! She is so cute!

Silly Girl October 1, 2009 6:05 PM

She is absolutely adorable.

SSP October 2, 2009 3:01 AM

wait'll she reaches up and grabs a crumb off your flavor savor.....betcha hack it off then.....heh heh...

Lea October 2, 2009 11:02 AM

that's a pretty heavy moustache Ryan. I'm sure Cole loves it :)

Meandering Mel October 2, 2009 12:42 PM

She's adorable. :)

Marcel October 2, 2009 7:15 PM

Ryan. That is some badass facial hair. ~bhj

KateC October 3, 2009 4:43 PM

What a beautiful little girl!

My husband is growing out his facial hair right now too. Must be the scruffy time of year!

Sara October 3, 2009 11:29 PM

My son is a week older than the Tangerine - he's trying to get over colic, but now he's teething hardcore.

The Girl October 6, 2009 3:24 PM

Ryan. You look like a biker... kinda. Or like my weird uncle, Franky, who grunted and made a weird 'heh heeeeeeh' noise a lot. Either way, she's way prettier than you.

Kit October 8, 2009 2:00 PM

Happy to see you back, I love this blog and your photos and thoughts. :)

Becka @Studio222 Photography October 9, 2009 2:39 PM

HAHA. Cute.

SweetPeaSurry October 10, 2009 8:33 PM

Tangerine is such a cutie patootie. I think she has some features of the both of you actually.

It's so lovely how sweetly your family is coming together and bonding.

I have been lurking around, but since you usually get 60-100 comments on any given post ... I don't figure you've missed my comments much, I did go back to read several posts that I had missed. Your writing is so well done, captivating and fluid. I love it.

Blessings >^.^<
