This Week From a Phone
Cole surprised us this week with a steal of a deal on the old model of i-phone, and so for the first time in forever I have a very handy camera on me at all times. This first picture of LB all sick and puny trying to keep down a banana was taken by Cole. She is freakishly good at taking camera phone pictures, so after this post I suggested to her that maybe we start posting the best of the week from our phones on Fridays.
It was a busy week, and the only picture on my Nikon was of Tessa. Cole had asked me to please take a picture of her before her teeth came in. The last days of toothless grins and gummy delight. So of course, Tessa clammed up. I got 30 pictures of her looking back at me with this showdown stare. In the end, I got one laugh out of her. And Cole got her shot. It always makes me smile what Cole thinks up for the pictures that she wants. I love the memories she picks out of this life.

I have an LG EnV Touch and love the camera on it. These days, it seems most of the pics I post on Facebook or my blog have come from my camera- it's so easy to send them to the internet! I still love the photography of my Nikon D40 (I'm a total amateur but enjoy the hobby) but the camera phone has become my point-n-click.

My boyfriend has the I-phone 3GS and loves it. I'm pretty taken with it too and keep swithering over whether to get one for myself. My issue is that the camera isn't that great, 3mp and no flash. Whenever I make this point though it gets pointed out to me that I own a camera and can use that when I want to take decent photos, but I still like the idea of having a decent camera on my phone too for when I'm out and about.

I simply love iPhone pictures. What a great idea. Can't you start some sort of photo carnival thing like you used to do with other photos and just do photos from iPhones?

Love the idea of camera phone pictures. While I was living in Sri Lanka last year, I really liked having a discreet little Blackberry camera phone for when I saw a rickshaw full of pineapples or a family of 5 riding on a moped.
aw nice photos with the iPhone. LB relaxing on the couch, good stuff. Tessa is growing so quick! My youngest little nephew, Connor has two teeth - he's 6 months. They grow so quickly.

super cute photos! i just got an old-model iphone as well - 1/3 the price of the newest models and i sure think it's spiffy! the camera is my favorite part. i send the husband photos of our baby allll day and he loves it...
