Walkity

We still need to figure out a new BEST time to take the weekly picture now that the days are longer. The sun was blasting us, so this shoot felt like I was shooting film again, because my LCD screen was useless and I couldn't take the camera off the tripod once we started shooting. I didn't see these till I got home and was like... oh wow, you literally are glowing!
When I shot Cole's series, we had the luxury of just walking into the other room and shooting. For Trish as she moves along, she has to drive over to the location each week, a much bigger hassle. This week I could see for the first time that it was a little bit of a pain in the ass for her to get in and out of the car. She is such an active person, a billion things every day and I can't imagine anything slowing her down. So it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the later weeks of her pregnancy. It is moving so fast now, We can't even see the first house we started shooting at any longer.
Another fun element to come, is that Trish has such tight friends and support around her that she has requested some cameos in the series, and so I have been tasked to figure out the best way for some of her friends to make some appearances in the series. I think it is awesome that she wants to remember some of the people that have been there for her during her pregnancy. I have some ideas using the natural activity and buzz of the street.
As always thanks so much for following along, and a big hello to Peter and Trish's Grandma who is reading along, I love that you are so excited and that you have this way to watch Leo grow.

I think you should have a cameo in the series! Creepin around in the background behind a tree or something.
I am not sure exactly why, but this picture is the best yet, IMO. She does sparkle or glow, or whatever you call it. And that's a hard thing to do when you start getting big and uncomfortable. She is a lucky girl. Great job!!!!
I think it's great Trish wants to include close friends in the photos. We were at the birth of a friends baby last night & it was so moving. I felt so honored to hold her 15 minutes after birth. We see these friends more often than family so we've become family. The miracle of birth is a beautiful thing!
beautiful shot! i love the sunshine & the dress!
i love the glow!!
Hey, hey, you know what a great book for a boy named Leo is?

It's called Leo's Tree.
She's getting close! So exciting! I am only a few weeks behind her so it's nice to see these!
I have to say she makes pregnancy look fabulous! Your pictures for this series are amazing and inspiring!
Lemonade stand! I would love to see her friends selling lemonade... maybe its just because that is what I craved for my last pregnancy but I think it would be super cute.
Oh the sun! We have had such crappy weather this year in the Bay Area and I could feel the sun on my skin just by looking at the picture. We are all so disconnected from nature, often, that I love that this series is outside and there's the connection between the seasons and her pregnancy. This is so great.
Oh wow. This is my favorite picture of the series thus far. Trish is stunning!
If you were really nice, maybe one of the homeowners would let you have a friend pop their head out of the door or window.
beautiful. I LOVE that they have the name already... makes it so much more real :-)
These make me miss my former baby bump that has now become a drooly, silly 5 month old. Thank you so much for your sincerity and devotion- it shows through your photographs!
Your thoughtfulness and creativity in this series is brilliant! Thank you for always sharing with the world, you know we all love you and your family!
