My Fashion Week
This was my first stab at capturing some of Fashion Week, and since the moment I got on the plane to fly home, I wanted another stab at it. It felt like right when I shook all the nerves, and felt my hands and feet for the first time, it was over. Just like that. Over. I am already making plans for next season. I can't wait.

**I had to catch my cab to the airport home and missed the show, so I lost the chance to shoot this collection, you can watch it HERE.

P.S. In case you didn't get enough Fashion Week, and you want to see a really stunning batch of photos from another perspective, I invited the insanely talented Jason Hudson to join me and focus on shooting stills while I blasted away at video, and he delivered a group of really beautiful images. He even managed to sneak a couple shots of me working. Sneaky Sneak :) It was also the first time the two of us had ever met, and he described that meeting just perfectly so I will let you read all about it from him. I will just say it was the closest I have ever come to screaming OH MY GOD YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND NOW, ever. Ever. Thanks for looking. This was a huge mess of fun and a great experience to be around all of this. His post is HERE.

I have been waiting to see all of these. They are fantastic! I love all the tones and the mood.
Stunning.
LOVE seeing that one of the models is reading Tom Lanoye's book "Sprakeloos". A bit of literature behind the scenes at fashion week - fantastic!

Some great shots here, Ryan. Not that you need to be told this, but you have a gift for capturing expression . . . even when the person is trying to be exressionless. I'm glad you had the opportunity to do this.
P.S. I perused Jason's post as well (great to see two view from the same place) and you were most definitely not wearing the same t-shirt. Liar.
@Fishsticked- The T-shirt was underneath, it never comes off. ever :)
Thanks for taking a look at the shots, it was so much fun to shoot, and a big step for me.
Awesome shots! Also, WOW! The secret to avoiding the hairclip bump is right there in your photo: tissue paper! Genius!
OOH WOW! All your photo are fantastic! You're so great!
I've been Fashion Week'd out and am tired of the non-stop coverage on all the blogs I read, but this was a much-welcomed post. I love that your photos look so different than the thousands I've looked at over the last week. I can't wait to see what you do the next go-round.
You did an awesome job.
I love, love, love these!!! You capture details that I've never seen in backstage photos before...sorta this flawed/flawless beauty contrast that is wonderful.
